STONE BREATH kündigen neue LP an

STONE BREATH ist das Hauptprojekt des in Pennsylvania lebenden Musikers TIMOTHY RENNER und steht für amerikanischen Folk, repetitives Banjospiel und ein starkes Interesse an biblischen (v.a. alttestamentarischen) Themen - etwas heruntergebrochen könnte man sie als eigensinnigere und konsequentere Variante von Gruppen wie WOVEN HAND bezeichnen. Soeben kündigt die Band ein neues Album an, das noch dieses Jahr als LP auf dem hauseigenen Hand/Eye-Label veröffentlicht werden soll. Aus dem Newsletter:

We are preparing to release our first new album in over 5 years. "The Shepherdess and the Bone-White Bird" should be ready Fall/Winter 2009. We are releasing it as an LP only at first, with a CD edition to follow in 2010. This work is based on two visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary given to the band.

The LP will come with a lyric booklet containing psychedelic illuminations for each song. In order to raise money for manufacturing, we are offering special edition pre-orders in various combinations. Many are one-of-a-kind offerings, so, first-come, first-serve. At this time, all of the original art packages are still available and about 40 of the Remarque packages - along with most of the CDr packages.
