Johan G. Winther
Eating Or Vomiting Its Tail
»Eating Or Vomiting Its Tail« is 30 blistering minutes of sonic catharsis. Sheets of blissful white noise and saturated feedback almost — but never quite — smothers Johan G. Winther's hypnotic and surprisingly melodic synth riffs, perfectly captured to analog tape.
Johan G. Winther (b 1982) has been recording under the name Tsukimono for ten years, as well as being involved in innumeral collaborations and bands. The only constant in his work has been the lack of a constant, always looking forward and allowing his voice to evolve and mutate in a multitude of directions. Furthermore Winther is an accomplished visual artist, as is evident in the religiously detailed cover illustrations.
In collaboration with Gothenburg designer Majls we are also offering a bundle of the cassette and a tee featuring details from the cover art. Silk-screened on Majls' Basic Black Tee, this is strictly limited to 23 copies, so act FAST!
Comes with a complimentary download version.

Mika Vainio/Joachim Nordwall
Neither of these gentlemen should need an introduction to the connoisseur of dark, electronic music. Vainio is one half noise techno pioneers Pan Sonic, and Nordwall runs iDEAL Recordings, and records solo as well as with The Skull Defekts and Alvars Orkester to name but a few.
As the title suggests, this album treats the sound with religious reverence. It's minimal, deep and cold, but never the less resonates with profound emotion. Electronics clash with organs, guitars, bass and metal percussions all recorded in the studio of Einstürzende Neubauten.
»Monstrance« is also available on CD and 2×LP on Touch
All copies of the cassette comes with a complimentary download version, but it's not available for digital purchase through Beläten.
