Five years after the critically acclaimed release of, "Under Seven Skies", Dahlia's Tear delivers a new album. "Dreamsphere" conjures visions from the depths of elusive, eerie dreams. It enables your mind to step out of reality, into haunted spheres.
This introspective work, is an enigmatic dark ambient-industrial recording with compositions; reflecting a light starved-timeless journey. The listener will experience bleak emptiness of depression. The dark corridors of your mind will release your fears and anxiety as it enters the hypnagogic phase. The subconscious will unfold into the obscure unknown, experiencing ominous desolation and whispering echoes of distant nocturnal voices.
The droning sound of ancient machines and ghostly clicks of clock gears provide a prophetic lullaby to your personal dream sphere. "Dreamsphere" provides dark soundscapes, manipulated field recordings and narrative speeches combined with cold lush strings and raw pad layers.

In the gray Italian province of Alessandria lives the multi-talented MEHMET R. FRUGIS, also known for his project MEKHATE - 35 GRAMS. In 2006, the project SALA DELLE COLONNE was born with an obscure CD on the American label, Autumn Wind Production.
In 2007 / 2008, for this new album, XX A.D., Mehmet R. Frugis completely changed musical references, taking inspiration from the majestic elements of classical compositions by Wagner, Sibelius and Mahler. And, by collaborating with the "Orchestra Aurora", his artistic output shifted to a contemporary style that embraces and integrates electronic sounds and samples. The result is a masterpiece of Neoclassical Martial music.

The tall and tattered city walls stand tall before my coiled image, surrounding the myriad cathedrals and citadels that in turn embrace the ancient machine-halls of this godforsaken place. Its former inhabitants now clinging to a desperate illusion set by the vile wardens of our kins long forgotten enemy, who once slaved before our feet.
The black glass and metal citadels stand emptied. Expect those that are used for the inhuman tortures and wayfarers. The only sounds that linger in the air are the grinding machines below the surface and the faraway screams from the ppurgatorial torture chambers.
This is our real home.

'When the Earth Dissolves in Ashes' gathers 75 minutes unique material formerly live only performed at different locations during 2010 and 2011: Zürich, Wuppertal, Rotterdam, Cologne, Leipzig (WGT), Cherkassy and more. The starting point for these live tracks is mainly the sounds used for 'In sadness, Silence and Solitude', 'Metamorphyses' and 'The Stains of the Embodied Sacrifice'. l looped and mixed live together with on spot improvised sounds, thus shaped into new never before heard sonically expressions.

Biography:
Raison d'être formed in 1991 as a tool of expression with the goal of self-realization. Behind the project is the highly respected and multitalented sound artist Peter Andersson. For almost two decades now, and with a vast number of CD releases on the Cold Meat Industry label, raison d'être have been supplying listeners with overwhelming dark ambient industrial landscapes of beauty and sorrow. Listening to raison d'être is like a lucid journey into the dark hidden domains of your inner self. But this is not all. Peter Andersson host not only one but up to nine other projects representing different sides and sounds of the Andersson character. The most well known except for raison d'être are Stratvm Terror, Necrophorus, Bocksholm and Atomine Elektrine.
