United Bible Studies: "I Am Providence" LP On Jellyfant Recorded in one day in Providence, Rhode Island on their 2008 US tour, I Am Providence is utterly unique even in the discography of United Bible Studies. The band performed a musicial ritual at HP Lovecraft's graveside then an a capella house show that evening with locals Alec K Redfearn, Orion Rigel Dommisse,and Manbeard and their touring companion Sharron Kraus. The Norwegian duo of Martha Redivivus (musical saw, flute, melodica, uke, gtr, kalimba, vox) and Seth H. Buncombe (banjo, voice, pretzel) have put everything into their third and final album. It's a double LP featuring such guests as Jim Santo, Brad Dourif doing spoken word (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Deadwood) Clodagh Simonds (Mellow Candle, Fovea Hex) and Norsk Noiser Laase Marhaug. It was recorded in New York, Dublin and Oslo over 3 years but sounds like a unified work and unmistakeably Thinguma*jigsaw. This double LP is a limited edition of 300 copies in gatefold sleeves with stunning B&W artwork by Martha Redivivus herself.
