Striider and Strydwolf

semperfidelis is a new Netherlands based neofolkparty hailing from Tilburg.

8th februari Striider and Strydwolf will kickoff the first evenning!

Striider is trying to recreate the atmosphere of war. That’s why you will hear lots of battle noise and speeches and other stuff that will take you back to the haunting moments of war. Striider does not spread or share any political ideas.

The name Strydwolf translates to “Battle wolf”, and derived from the Edda. The name is synonymous with “Fenris”. This project started in 2007 as a martial industrial one-man army (Demo’s “Weltstorm” and “Heitelân”), but pretty soon other influences like military pop and neofolk made an entrance into the electro-acoustic sounds (CD “Ljocht”, 2009). The CD “Dunkle Wälder” (2011) is focussing mainly on romantic neofolk, and was released by SkullLine. The last CD Aus Alter Zeit is out now with guest appearences of Falkenstein, Hou En Trou, Shattered Hand, Gnomonclast and others.
